On grey autumn days like today one can't help longing for winter and Christmas...
I browsed the web and found some beautiful illustrations by Swedish (born Estonian) illustrator, Ilon Wikland. These images hit me right in the heart and bring back the excitement over Christmas you felt as a kid ♡ Nostalgia deluxe!

Long time no see...

I realize quite some time has passed (once again) since I wrote something here - I blame school and work.

I have started my final year on my bachelor's program and I'm starting to see the light in the tunnel, though there's still a lot of work to be done before I reach my degree. I'm also studying french on the side, an online course via Dalarnas Uni, it's so much fun to polish my old high school french and I'm dreaming of becoming fluent - Practice, practice, practice!

The renovation is moving gradually as well, I finished painting the hallway in the end of the summer and on Saturday mom and dad are coming over to help us lay the new floor - exciting :) Promise to share some "before and afters" at some point.

PORTUGAL

Babe and I've been back for a few days now and we have had the most beautiful holiday in Portugal. We spent 3 days in amazing Lisbon first, then some days at the beach in Cascai, a couple of days in Sintra visiting palaces and then finished with two more days in Lisbon. All in all it's been great, yummy food, wine, music, dance, sun, sea, romance and the whole kit!

I'm back!

Realized I haven't shared my wise words here in quite some time. I have simply not found the energy after work...but BLESS THE LORD yesterday was my last day at the summer job and now I have a whole month (!) of freedom before I start my final year at uni :)

I've spent the past week at mom and dad's as my Babe is visiting friends down south. I've enjoyed the fresh air out here, blueberry picking, bbq:s, and quality time with mom and dad ♡ But today my Plutti comes back and I can't wait! Funny how you can miss someone soooo very much :) ♡ On tuesday we're off on a 10 day holiday in Portugal - awesome!
